I am having trouble with the back of the shoe. The leather is very hard and rubs my heels- I cover my heel with bandages in hopes that in time the leather will wear and they are more comfortable. Very painful. I did order a 1/2 upfrom my regular sizeMy Granddaughter loved my selectionOnce you wear them for a while they become comfortable.Nice shoes and I ordered my usual size but these seem extremely Narrow! I literally could not get either foot inside the shoes! Very strange indeed. I wear a size "B" width, too (medium width). Had to return them for refund.These shoes are so comfy! They are a bit snug, but as I wear them, they seem to mold to my feet. Love them!Had to put shoe stretchers in for the mid foot. Order wide. Also tight in length.However, I like the look of the shoes and I assume they will be comfortable eventually.Love the shoes ordered two sizes per the reviews . They are cute and comfortable for about 20 min. Walked from my car to gas station back to car by the time I got into my office I was bleeding rubbed raw in my heel what the hell? Boat shoes should mean can be without socks who wears socks on a boatVery comfortableI woud give this a 4 1/2 stars if I could. It is a great pair of shoes and goes nicely with many outfits of mine. The shipping was very fast and the product arrived in great condition. The only problem that I had was that it was a bit more narrow than I thought it woud be. I have a size 7 foot and have never really had a problem before with a shoe being too narrow. However, I am currently breaking them in and they are a lot more comfortable. Overall, a nice shoe.LOVE my Sperry's but do not be mistaken - these shoes fit VERY true to size. The 'breaking in' period was rough on my feet, however after googling some tips on how to break in leather shoes, they now fit like a pair I've had for years. I would suggest if your feet are wide to see if they have a wider width option!!Too narrow, I could hardly slip my foot on it! And I didn’t get all my $ back .A good quality, classic boat shoe, well construction and really very comfortable. It did take me a couple of tries between sizes up and down but I eventually found the exact size to match the UK shoe size that I'd been used to.Price was amazing! Approx $30 less than a retail store. Fits so comfortable. Didn't expect that it would be soft for your feet! I thought I would have to wear them in like a baseball glove!
