I got these shoes today. I don't understand a previous review that pointed out that these shoes are rigid. Rigid compared to what? Sneakers? Flip flops? Bare feet? I wear high heels every single day and these shoes came as a blessing after a 10-hour semi-swollen feet, aching arch and a few blisters from a previous pair of pumps. It is warm here on the East coast and I will wear them at the beginning of June when full summer starts, mainly because they are white and it is still rainy outside. This is the reason why I give them 4 stars as of now. I will update my review in June. One things girls and ladies: ALWAYS wear boat shoes specific socks (they cost like 20 bucks/3 pairs on Amazon) when you wear these types of shoes. Bare feet in canvas shoes are a very bad idea - bacteria and sweat, dust mix and not only they make you feel uncomfortable, but also are a fantastic environment for fungus to grow and develop on the long run, and moreover, hard skin to build and give the callus appearance. This is why in Summer when women wear flip flops and sandals, dry weather, dust and heat make us develop calluses much faster.They are really cute but a bit disappointed because i wear size 7 shoes and i got an 7 1/2 but they still ended up being a bit tight .. squeezes my front toes but if i wasnt all the way from the Caribbean i would have sent them back and would have gotton a size 8 but its a bit too late .. but a part from that i love the texture, the style and especially the colours !!!They were adorable however they really do run a bit small. I had read that in the reviews but they didn't have them in a half size bigger so I took my chance. The box also looked like it had been through a war zone, so I believe I was not the first to return them. Haha.I was able to return them with no problems.Darn, they were soooooo darling!I'm not a fan of the "shoelace." These are my first Sperry's, so it was a shock to me how much they came untied during the day. These are super cute shoes, and I received a lot of complements on them, so I am hoping to find a ribbon style shoelace to replace this leathery one.I love the look. Wore them all day today and they were were quite comfortable. Held off on giving them a 5, brcause othrrr reviews said they can be ruined if they get wet and the sole separates. First day for them- hoping for good long term wear!Cute shoes. These will be great to wear when I am going out and not something I would wear all day long. I usually take a 9, but in Sperry shoes I go up to a 9.5.I had these shoes packed back up for return within about 10 min of their arrival. They run very small. I have several other pairs of Sperry's and these did not fit at all the same. I even checked to see if they shipped the wrong size. Strange. They are cute shoes so I wish they would have fit!They are so pretty but not really comfortable. I usually wear 7.5 but when I tried them on in a store I decided to buy 8 as they run a bit small and narrow. I thought by time they would get wider and become more comfortable but it never happened.
