Sperrys are my go to shoe for fit & comfort. Sizing is consistent through the line. Look works for casual to everything except formal.Sperry makes great shoes. No exception here. They are expensive. But if you have patience they have differant sizes(seem random) go on sale for short amount of time. Reg. price$149, bought mine $49. Size 12 was only one at time for $49. Went back later(within hour)it was at reg. price. Next day dif. size was $54. Back to point, hard to find better shoe. Comfortable, fits/breathes well, WELL MADE( no extra glue has smooth seams), great grip, and looks great.Gorgeous shoes that run very big. For reference, I wear a 10 in New Balance and a 9.5 in Skechers. Ordered these in a a 9 and they wouldn’t stay in my feet, even with socks. Exchanging the insole for a thicker sport insole seems to fix the problem, but would go a half size smaller if I ordered again. Other than the size, they’re beautifully made. Exactly what You’d expect from the Gold Cup Collection. Excellent craftsmanship and the leather has a premium, soft feel compared to the top sider line.Was looking for a Sperry shoe that has the side "bumpers" (for lack of a better term) sown on instead of glued, as the previous pair i had came apart pretty quickly.These have held up really well and still look pretty good.I like the shoes but was surprised how stiff the sole is. You cannot even squeeze it with your fingers. Hard as a rock. I wonder if the manufacturer is aware of this? However the inside sole is well cushioned and is comfortable. Initially when I started wearing them, since the sole flexes so little, you tend to clump, clump, clump along with a stiff flat sole.Boat shoes always take a little time to soften and get more comfortable. These seem to be doing that quite well.
