I love these Sketchers boat shoes for both their look and their comfort. They have a similar wool exterior to AllBirds but with better styling. Because the wool is so forgiving, they don't need to be broken in the way a leather shoe would. The sole is thick enough to cushion your feet without being bulky. The shoes also seem a little dressier than the average Sketchers, a cross between a sneaker and a loafer. They run true to size.Because these are washable wool, they come with a mesh bag to hold them while in the washing machine. Don't stick them in the dryer, though, since they should be air-dried only.-- Debbie Lee WesselmannThese are my favorite shoes - I have them in charcoal and navy. The arch support, flexible sole, and square toe box make them comfortable enough to wear all day. The wool is breathable, so my feet stay fairly dry, even without socks. They're also easy to slip on and off, making them great for air travel (not that I've done any of that lately). I haven't washed them yet - just sprinkled some corn starch inside when they got a little funky-smelling. I think Skechers has discontinued them, so I was happy to find them on Amazon.Love these shoes.Feel great & wash/dry perfectly.The perfect casual shoe looks good with jeans or with business casual pants for the office.Shoes are very comfortable right out of the box!
