These were my first pair of Sperry Topsiders and I am pleased. Not as heavy leather as my usual brand but very light, soft and comfortable like slippers right out of the box. I always steered away from the brand due to the white sole. I just discovered the large variety of styles and colors and opted for Topsiders in black with a black sole. For me they were true to my size 11. Perfect on my left foot and a little tight on my right foot which is a little larger. I have no doubt that right shoe will break in with a little wear due to the softness of the leather. I also liked the black leather laces which are heavier than I expected. They should last a long time. Finally, the Amazon price was excellent.I've probably worn out 20 pairs of these shoes over the last 20 years. I've tried other brands and been disappointed by how quickly they wear out. These shoes will stand up to daily abuse. I literally do everything in them, get them wet, muddy, dirty, and everything else. I clean them with saddle soap and put leather salve on them and they look new. I've even scraped dried paint off the leather and you couldn't tell afterwards. Wearing out 20 pairs, the worst I've ever had happen is one of the metal grommets come out around the top at the back when I caught it in a metal chair, it is just for aesthetics so I cut it off. I've also had the insert on the inside heel of the shoe wear out after over a year of wear but the same happens sooner on every other pair of shoes I've owned. Sperry brand is definitely worth the money.I’ve been buying Sperry Top Siders for 50+ years. They have always fit my feet, they look great and the softer leather conforms to the contours of my feet much better than the cheaper options. To be transparent here, I do not wear these shoes with socks - never have (no matter what time of the year). Never disappointed with Sperry’s.Shoe fits my husband as expected with a little extra width in toe bed area. He loves the brand and was relieved he recieved a replacement pair after a couple wares when the sole of the shoe separated unexpectedly.First of all the color was way lighter than what is pictured which is misleading. The shoes scratch so easily with each touch. They run big and way wider than expected. My son have to wear very thick socks so they don’t fall off his foot. They came the week before school started so I couldn’t return them for another size. He loves them despite the flaws.I was disappointed that I got some water spots on the top of the shoe. They must be treated with something because the spots are now gone.The shoe was of quality just the sizing was smaller than normal so return and they didn't have a larger size so I couldn't repurchase.Everything was just PERFECT with this shoe, arrived as expected, SPERRY is an awesome brand andAMAZON did not disappoint.Why o why you put different tops on your shoes they look terrible and it’s not shown in the picture not good I’ve noted your name to stay away fromThe sizing on these shoes is way out. 1 pair far too large; ordered 1 size smaller and this was too small. Returned both pairs. A shame because they are of good quality and good value. I'm hoping the shoes of a different brand I've now ordered are "just right"!Perfect purchase fit well and comfortableThese are my 3rd or 4 pair over the years and I have always been pleased with them. Well made, comfortable, and good looking. For maximum comfort I recommend putting cotton insoles in them when worn without socks (as they should be in my opinion.)The product was very good and used it for work but not as comfortable as my other 2 toosiders which is 3x cheaper and blue color, bought this for the color
