I ordered this as a replacement seat for my Viper Kayak, the original was ruined. This seems to be a very nice seat with a high back for my Kayak. The problems is all of the straps, there are way too many! I decided to keep the seat, but will have to remove several straps and there were no instructions!Great product just need more support in back or made of sturdy productFits my kayak well and is comfortable to sit on.It's comfy at first. The back keeps buckling down and folding in the middle so I'm having to put a rolled towel behind my back for comfort. Seat padding is minimal.I thought, from the picture, that the seat back straps hooked to the front of the seat bottom cushion, ie, self supporting. My yak is inflatable, does not have a lot of attachment points, and one can not drill and screw in hooks. So, useless for my yak.It is OK.Received the kayak seat in a flimsy, clear wrapper. It appeared to be the same type as one that I had before. But... the seat was thin, uncomfortable, & not as supportive as my previous one. Not only was the shipping cost taken out of my refund, but I had to pay $14.00 to buy a box that UPS would ship it in properly, wouldn't take the thing it came in. Soooo, I received less than half of what I paid for this return.Overall, I think this a very great product. I wasn’t expecting it to be as sturdy as it is but it really is even when wet! Though at first it was tricky to put on by the second kaykak it’s a piece of cake! The straps are easily adjustable if you like a more upright position or more laid back. The only reason I’m giving a four star is because on occasion when the straps to adjust the lean or upright position are wet they they tend to slide but only a little. It is very quick to just pull the straps back into the position you like though! All in all I would definitely recommend and buy for future kayaks!
