These shoes are extremely comfortable.reMy second pair of Sperry topsiders, these shoes are exceeding my expectations.I enjoy the rich leather smell and supple feel of these premium boat shoes. The color is a nice navy blue which goes well with most outfits.Breaking-in topsiders properly is essential to the comfort of these unique shoes. A 24 hour submersion in brine followed by wearing them while they're still wet and walking around until they are dry is the technique that seems to work best. A good cleaning and condition with mink oil will keep the leather supple and waterproof.I've worn these shoes daily for several months and every day the feel more and more comfortable.Update: one of the eyelets popped halfway out today. It doesn't want to pop back in. Not cool. It's very sharp and I'm afraid it might injure someone.they are really comfortable, well made , I simply love themThe shoes are just as attractive and well made as I had hoped they would be. Unfortunately, and this is nothing new, fit is a bit of a problem. I have wide feet and very short toes so if I try to accommodate my feet by getting a larger size, they'll be too long...Great shoes though!Four stars, five when I can get size 8.5 EE. Thanks.Sperry Topsider is my go-to for casual wear. Hands down the best and most comfortable moccasin at this price point. The Tan Gold Cup model is very nice and has a great aniline looking finish with very slight highs and lows noticeable in the leather. The inside is lined with lamb I believe, which is very soft and comfortable. The shoes may be worn in warm climates or colder climates. I find them comfortable either way and my feet are neither too warm or too cold. These shoes are also my go-to to pair with shorts and no socks. Comfortable with socks too if thats your thing.I've worn boat shoes for 20+ years from most, if not all, of the major brands but never a pair of Sperry Gold Cup. The quality of these shoes is amazing, with flawless fit and finish. Unlike most boat shoes, these are lined with buttery soft leather and have a "memory foam" insole that is super comfortable and provides more arch support than any other brand I've worn. There's no break in period, just superior comfort out of the box. While this is my first pair of Gold Cups, they won't be my last...Good shoe, but the color was a little light. A bit of mink oil took care of that.Nice shoes from Sperry.... worn without socks as they should be for summer but just a touch narrow in the toe area... length is spot on though. Quality as expected from the brand and at a great price from Amazon.A bit small i guess i should have size 10,5 Not 10UPDATE: I wear these basically every day now and they're fantastic. Upholds from wear aND water. I'd highly recommend the investment in a proper shoe.I was told by coworkers that you'll need to get a size down or just smaller. I am a 6.5 US and got a 6 US with a medium width. I was told they'll stretch out more after a few years. They are worth the initial investment as they do last quite a long time. I had a friend who's father wore them for the last 10 years, the same pair. My boyfriend has worn his for the last 1.5 years and through two Canadian winters (yay salt stains) and they're still functioning. Now, they're retired in Florida for the few days wear when visited.I ordered a size 6 in the Sahara. They were WAY too small. This was hugely disappointing, as I am always the perfect 6M, and do have a slightly narrow foot. I could barely get my foot into this shoe at all, and when I forced myself to walk around - it hurt every inch of my foot, especially in the toes. There was no way these would stretch enough to be comfortable. Very sad, as I do love the shoe, but now I know to visit a store and look at wide widths and bigger sizes - a first for me!! Side vent - very frustrated that these were on sale for $52+ but only in the size 6! any other size was more like $152!! Poor business if you as me.Very nice looking, great leather quality, very confortable. Best Sperry shoes ever
