Arrived th e package was damaged, before first use the top eyelet popped out. Not as expectedI made my hubby pick out his own presents. I know, I'm rotten. But hey, this way he gets what he wants. He really likes this rod(and the reel we bought separately on Amazon). He feels it is a sturdy rod and will serve home well. He is amazed that this rod and the reel we bought seems to go together perfectly and the prices were great. Go ahead and get them for the hubby if you are looking to suprise him. If he wants a saltwater set this rod(and the reel purchased separately) would likely please him!Bought this for a Florida charter fishing boat trip. Rod worked great and even fit in the rod holder on the boat great. The slotted rubber end fit nicely in the cable under the rod holder to prevent the rod from spinning during travel. I used a spinning reel with this which was a great choice because a ship mate showed me how I could cast out about 40-50 yards from the boat and possibly catch something bigger and better away from the boat. Rod had good sensitivity and strength to detect small sand perch and strength to land large snapper.Bought this Friday and had reef fish on the next morning. I REALLY like this rod. I bought the 6’6” medium and have it paired with a spinfisher V 4500.I loved how light the rod felt and how sturdy it was.I am using braided line so I will be watching the guides to see if any grooving takes place. If I don’t update this review with a downgrade, consider it a 5 star!Big strong pole for annyytthhiinng lol. I use it for sharks. It's big but not to big. Very good quality. Very good qualityAwesome jigging rods for a person on a budget. Like me...been using the rampage jigging spinning rod for a couple years now and just bought another one for my new Fin-Nor reel. Great bang for the buck. Used out of Galveston down to Port Isabel in the Gulf.A nice stiff rod, but the top eyelet fell out before I even got the line on the reel. I glued it back in, but had to knock off a star for that. I expect a little better from Penn.Great fishing pole but arrived with a gash in the handle which I am pretty upset about since this was supposed to be a brand new pole. The damage had to of happened during fulfillment or before packaging due to the box arriving untouched and well put together. RECOMENDABLE PARA SU ADQUISICIÓN.Justo ayer usé por segunda vez mi nueva caña de 12 pies. Penn es una de mis marcas consentidas para mis batallas en el mar. En este caso no valió la pena ni un peso de lo invertido en esta caña. A los pocos tiros con un anzuelo tipo Ranger simplemente se partió la vara, sin que se haya golpeado o atorado en alguna roca o arbusto.Me dio mucha pena y desilusión, que siendo Penn de mis marcas consentidas me haya ocurrido esto. Pensé que esta caña sería mi compañera por un tiempo.el producto es bueno y a buen precio estoy satisfecho con esta compra y lo recomiendo a las que le guste la pescaPosee Excelente resistencia. Es Muy practica es buena la relacion entre valor y precio. Comoda de manejar y acabado durable.Una excelente vara un poco rígida pero bastante liviana para hacer jigging, aguanta los embates de los peces, seguridad y confianza para trabajar las capturas
