I purchased and installed this last year. I normally don’t write reviews, but I will in this case.Not only was the installation pretty straight-forward and the shade worked like a charm thereafter but it’s also very durable. Much more so than I expected given the design.Last year, we were hit with straight line winds of 20-30 mph as we were coming in during a sudden storm that hit us while out on the lake, and while I was concerned that driving in against the wind at 20 mph would rip the thing right off the boat (like my old one), it hardly budged and sustained no damage. Fast forward to yesterday, and the marina where we keep the boat got hit with 70mph straight line winds. We had left the PWR-arm open for the next day and believed surely that this storm damaged it given the condition of other boats in the marina and the dock itself (twisted steel and all).To our surprise, nada. Perfect condition. Two boats three slips down from us were literally blown from their moorings, so the wind had to be significant.Anyway, highly recommend this to anyone considering a new Bimini.
